Promoting Dialogue, Social Cohesion and Lasting Peace
The Gisaro Muhoza Foundation (FGM Asbl) works to promote peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence through initiatives for the prevention and peaceful resolution of conflicts.
In a context often marked by community tensions, social conflicts and security crises, the Foundation regards dialogue, mediation and reconciliation as essential tools for building stable, inclusive and resilient communities.
Lasting peace can only be achieved through mutual understanding, respect for differences and a collective commitment to social cohesion.
Our objectives
Through this programme, the Foundation aims to:
- Support local peacebuilding initiatives.
- Encourage a culture of dialogue and tolerance;
- Prevent community and social conflicts;
- Promote mediation and reconciliation;
- Strengthen social cohesion between communities;
- Raise awareness of peace among young people and community leaders;
